Snow, wind, flooding expected to hit NJ

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. - December 26, 2012

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the northwestern part of the state from Wednesday afternoon until late Thursday morning.

The storm is expected to dump a total of four to six inches on the area and also produce sleet and freezing rain.

Other areas are expected to get between two and three inches of rain. A flood watch has been issued from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.

And if that isn't enough, a wind advisory has been issued for the same time period as gusts are expected to reach as high as 50 mph.

After a respite Friday, snow is expected to return to the area Saturday.
