The Delaware State Police says four people have been taken to the hospital after a single vehicle crash near Camden but none of them have life-threatening injuries.

Troopers say the crash happened Wednesday around 2:08 a.m. on South DuPont Highway.

Troopers say they are investigating why a 2011 Dodge Nitro driven by 21-year-old Matthew Givens of Milford left the roadway and struck a street sign. The vehicle then struck a curb and a tree before coming to a stop on its roof. Givens and three female passengers were transported to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries

The Delaware State Police says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash and charges are pending.
