The Centre Daily Times reports authorities say the heist happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kranich's Jewelers. Police say three men entered the store, demanded the keys to the display case and ordered employees on the floor.
Store owner Charles Kranich says one of the suspects held a gun to an employee's head. Police say the thieves got away with an undetermined amount of jewelry before fleeing. They also took a ring, a watch and a wallet from one of the employees.
No one was hurt.
Police have given the men's descriptions to local transportation officials and are on the lookout for them.
