The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. at Eberhart Road in Whitehall Township.
Police say a pickup truck was travelling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a car turning onto Route 145.
The car then caught fire, killing both people inside.
Two people inside the truck were also taken to area hospitals with serious injuries.
The victims' names have not been released.
