The mayor of Marcus Hook, Pa. has been ordered held for trial on charges of reckless endangerment and other offenses.

That was the result of a preliminary hearing Tuesday for 38-year-old James Schiliro.

Schiliro was arrested last month on charges that he ordered a police officer to drive a 20-year-old man to his home, plied the man with wine and started demanding oral sex.

The alleged victim told police at one point Schiliro got three guns and fired a shot into the wall before the encounter ended four hours later.

"I plan on fighting these charges. That's about all I've got to say," Schiliro told Action News after turning himself in to authorities on March 21st.

Schiliro has refused calls that he step down as mayor.

He has reportedly filed papers to run for re-election.
