The accident happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Route 322 and Chelsea Parkway in Upper Chichester.
The driver of the car has been identified as 20-year old Brian Brlanski of Avondale, Pa.
Brlanski was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say a student, a bus aide and the driver were aboard the bus at the time of the crash. They were not hurt.
Route 322 was reopened around 8:30 p.m.
