Authorities say it happened Friday evening inside a Printz market on Northeast Boulevard, where two clerks were shot - one fatally.
Police are looking for three men who they say entered the convenience store, opened fire on the clerks and then ran away.
Police say the motive's still unclear.
The other store worker is in critical condition at Christiana Hospital.
