The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on Federal Street near 41st Street.
The high-end sports car hit a pole and overturned onto its roof.
Police say the driver took off, leaving the passenger who was trapped inside the wrecked car.
The man needed to be extricated from the vehicle by rescuers. He was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
