3 sought in Philadelphia building supply store robbery

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - June 26, 2013

The robbery happened at 11:30 a.m. on June 22nd at Kerrs Building Material store at 1528 Washington Avenue.

Police say one of the suspects stood by the office door acting as a lookout while the other two suspects entered the office, armed with a handgun, demanding money.

The pair stole from a cash register then all three fled on South 16th Street.

The suspects are described by police as:

Suspect #1: Black male, 20 years-of-age, 5'7", medium build, 145 lbs, wearing blue shorts, white tank top, black sneakers and armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2: Black male, 20 years-of-age, 5'8", 140 lbs, medium build, black shorts, white tank top, black shoes with an orange towel around his neck.

Suspect #3: Black male, 20 years-of-age, 6'0", 160 lbs, thin build, wearing a gray shirt.
