Officer injured on bike patrol at Wawa Welcome America

PHILADELPHIA - July 5, 2013

The incident happened shortly after 11:00 p.m. Thursday at 17th and Arch Streets.

It's unclear how the officer was injured.

The officer suffered leg injuries and was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating.
