It happened around 9:15 Saturday on the 2700 block of Reed Street.
Authorities received the report of a shooting and arrived to find the victim, in his 30s, shot four times.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the leg, chest and both arms.
He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.
So far no word on a motive, any suspects or arrests.
