Police were called to a gas station on the 7200 block of Torresdale Avenue in the Tacony section at about 12:45 a.m. Monday.
The 23-year-old man tells police he was shot while driving on City Avenue, near Belmont.
He says he tried to drive home, but pulled into the gas station to call for help.
The man is hospitalized in serious condition.
