Police seek Northeast Philadelphia bank robber

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - July 17, 2013

The robbery happened at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Citizens Bank at 2516 Welsh Road.

Police say the suspect walked up to the counter and told the teller he had a gun.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled on foot east on Welsh Road.

The suspect is described by police as a white male, 20-30 years-of-age, 5'4", thin build, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a red Phillies baseball cap.
