John Brown, 38, is being held for a preliminary hearing.
Detectives say he was caught while riding a stolen bike on Thursday in Old New Castle, where numerous break-ins have been reported.
The break-ins began back on July 7th, police said.
Investigators aren't sure if Brown worked alone.
Residents are reminded to keep doors and windows locked.
