Mount Laurel Police responded to a burglar alarm at Dicks Sporting Goods Store at 1300 Nixon Drive around 10:45 p.m. shortly after the store closed.
Arriving officers discovered two teens hiding inside the store during a search.
Investigators believe the teens were attempting to steal guns and ammunition. Police discovered extensive damage to the storage area where the ammunition was secured.
Both teens were taken into custody by police.
