Traffic reopens on NJ Turnpike after truck fire

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. - July 30, 2013

The fire happened around 8:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the turnpike at Exit 4.

Both directions of traffic were closed for a time while fire crews worked to extinguish the fire. Southbound lanes of the turnpike have since reopened and the left shoulder and left lane of the northbound lanes are now getting by the scene while crews work to remove the wreckage.

There is no word on if anyone was injured in the incident.

Traffic is backed up approaching the scene.
