Gunshots rang out just after midnight in the area of the 900 block of McDowell Avenue.
According to police, a 20-year-old man was struck by the gunfire and then hit several parked cars before coming to a stop.
The victim was taken to the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in critical condition.
Police have made no arrests or determined the motive for the shooting.
