Suspects, young as 12, sought in burglary of Rite Aid in Logan

LOGAN - August 28, 2013

The burglary happened at 11:44 p.m. Monday at the store in 1300 block of Windrim Avenue.

Police say the suspects forced open a rear bay door.

Once inside, the three allegedly took several six-packs of soda and cookies.

Investigators say the total value of the items stolen was about $30.

The three suspects then fled on foot.

They were described by police as:

Suspect #1: Black or Latino male, 5'0" tall with a thin build, 12 to 14 years old, wearing a red/white horizontal striped shirt and dark colored jeans.

Suspect #2: Black male, 5'3"-5'5" tall with a thin build, 12 to 15 years old, wearing camouflaged colored shorts and carrying a blue/black and red horizontal striped shirt.

Suspect #3: Black male, 5'8"-5'10" tall, 14 to 16 years old with a thin build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
