Kids' consignment sale in South Jersey

HADDON HEIGHTS, New Jersey - Sept. 5, 2013

Linda Beiberbach of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, explains, "We'll have double the amount of car seats, double the amount of bikes, everybody has two swings. When you have twins, you don't want to go to a big warehouse store and buy two of everything because it gets really expensive."

To help members turn their children's used items into cash -- and to help parents throughout the area save on what their kids can use right now -- the South Jersey Mothers of Multiples chapter is holding a giant kids' consignment sale this weekend.

More than 17,000 items, including Fall and Winter clothing, toys, baby gear, books and more will be sold at a fraction of new retail.

Lori Harasyn of Medford, New Jersey, says everything is priced to move. "I would guess that most of our consigners sell items for about half the price at what it would be at the store, although clothing, everyone wants to take their stuff to the sale and not bring it home, so they price it pretty inexpensively."

You'll find pajamas for $1-$2 dollars, Gymboree sweaters for $3, Mini Boden pants for $4, and the riding toys and outdoor toys are also great deals.

The sale runs from noon until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at the Blue Barn at the Evesham Recreation Center at Memorial Park, 1004 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, New Jersey.
