Police were called to the 2600 block of South Dewey Street before 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.
One victim was shot in the chest and was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.
The other suffered leg injuries and was listed in stable condition at the same hospital.
There was no immediate word what sparked the shootings. So far no arrests.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
