The suspension of Amtrak's Keystone service was announced at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
The announcement came as AccuWeather and StormTracker 6 Double Scan were tracking severe weather moving east across Pennsylvania toward the Delaware and Lehigh Valleys.
Amtrak is offering a refund or voucher for future travel to paid passengers affected by the disruption.
