Big fuss over a little door

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - September 17, 2013

A new mini door has has appeared in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park after another one was removed by the city.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports Tony Powell and his 6-year-old son first installed a wooden door to cover the small opening of a tree in March.

Park visitors were delighted and left notes or little gifts for the imaginary creatures that might be using the mini door.

Park officials removed the door saying it violated the city code.

Fans of the tiny door were outraged.

Now, Powell and his son have made a new door.

This time it passes muster because it's attached to a log and not a living tree.
