Philadelphia police have made an arrest in the murder of a man in Germantown last month.

Authorities say 30-year-old Marcus Brooking gunned down 28-year-old Julius Black in the 200 block of West Seymour Street on the night of August 20.

Black, from the 2100 block of Nedro Street, was shot multiple times and died a short time after arriving at Temple University Hospital.

Police say Brooking, from the 5000 block of Tacoma Street, was already behind bars on unrelated charges when they linked him to this crime.

The motive for the shooting is unclear.
