Disabled man rescued from roof in Camden fire

CAMDEN, N.J. - October 12, 2013

It happened around 10:00 Saturday night in the 700 block of Morgan Street.

Police say smoke filled both floors of a two story house.

Firefighters were able to rescue the trapped victim.

He was taken to Cooper Medical Center for smoke inhalation. His injuries are non-life threatening.

The fire was brought under control within a half hour.

A cause for the blaze is still under investigation.
