The fire broke just before 6:30 a.m. on the 3400 block of Weymouth Street.
Firefighters arrived to flames shooting from several storage garages in a one-story building.
The fire was placed under control within a half hour.
The garages belong to residents who rent them for personal storage use.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the blaze.
