Authorities say a woman and her young grandson were injured when they were struck by a car in southern New Jersey, but their injuries are not considered life threatening.

Gloucester Township police say 44-year-old Tanya Littles of Clementon and her 3-year-old grandson had just left a supermarket and were walking to her home when they were hit around 7:10 p.m. Saturday.

The driver, a 60-year-old Clementon woman who was trying to make a left turn when the accident occurred, stopped at the scene and authorities were notified. Littles and her grandson were both taken to the hospital, where they were listed in stable condition on Sunday with undisclosed injuries.

No charges have been filed in the accident, which remains under investigation.
