Cawley's spokesman Chad Saylor said Tuesday morning that Cawley remained in Harrisburg Hospital and was awaiting more tests.
Saylor says he is told that Cawley's treatment is routine and that his symptoms have not recurred since Monday afternoon. He says the 44-year-old Cawley has no history of needing hospitalization since he took office in 2011 and had a regular physical over the summer that raised no issues out of the ordinary.
A Capitol nurse examined Cawley after he fell ill Monday and sent him to the hospital.
