A Delaware County bookkeeper accused of stealing more than $800,000 from her employer will go to trial.

Only Action News was there as 55-year-old Ruth Phillips walked into an Aston courtroom for a preliminary hearing Wednesday.

Prosecutors allege that Phillips forged 687 checks from the account of Pop Tuna buildings between 2007 and 2013.

They add that Phillips allegedly took $850,000 to pay credit card bills and finance her lifestyle.
