Gunmen fires on police in Northeast Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are looking for the gunmen who shot a man and fired off several rounds at them.

Police say a 27-year-old man was shot on the 6200 block of Bustleton Avenue in the Northeast early Saturday morning.

The suspects fled in a white Toyota, but police caught up with them in the 1500 block of Devereaux Avenue.

The suspects fired several shots at officers before managing to get away. No officers were injured.

Police later recovered the car and the gun they believed was tossed from the car.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

Police continue to search for the suspects.
