3 people injured in electric shock incident in Bellmawr, New Jersey

BELLMAWR, N.J. - November 3, 2013

"Everybody was screaming and crying," said Pam Ritter.

Around 2:00 p.m. 18-year-old Selena Walker and her two neighbors were shocked by a power line while they were trying to get a set of car keys off the roof.

Friends say Walker's mother and her mother's boyfriend got into an argument when he took the keys and threw them on the roof.

Two neighbors were helping Walker when the ladder they were holding touched the line.

"I saw them as soon as they were down on the ground, resuscitating them and everything. They said they all had a pulse and everything," said Ritter.

Investigators with the Camden County Prosecutor's Office responded while PSE&G crews cut the electricity and checked out the scene.

Walker and her neighbors were transported to Cooper University Hospital in critical condition.

Residents say one of the male victims known as 'Papi' is the go-to neighbor for lawn care in the community.

Walker grew up in the area.

"I broke down, she's been my best friend for 12 years and I broke down. For the whole 12 years she's been a good person. Everything that she does for people is for a reason because everybody out here has a good connection with her," said Gabrielle Berki, victim's friend.

That's why so many of Walker's friends spent the evening on her street waiting for word.

"I used to date her and everything and even though we've broken up, she still has a part of my heart and she always will. I really don't know what I would do without her," said Taylor Deblaker, victim's friend.

Meanwhile, investigators still haven't released much on the incident. No word if they're speaking with or if they've located the boyfriend of Walker's mother.
