Crews were called to Caplan's Bagels in the 400 block of Domino Lane at approximately 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they found smoke pouring from the shop and a fire in the basement.
The blaze was brought under control in about 20 minutes without any injuries.
However, the basement was heavily damaged.
There's no word yet on a cause.
