10 people displaced in Philadelphia public housing fire

Officials say ten people have been displaced after a fire at a North Philadelphia public housing building early Monday morning.

The blaze broke out around 12:45 a.m. on the 2300 block of West Glenwood Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting from an end unit.

They were able to get the fire quickly under control.

Ten people, including several children, were unable to return to their homes.

They were staying at nearby residences.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. Investigators are working to determine what sparked the blaze.
