Police say an 18-year-old on a bicycle was struck and killed by a freight train Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the teen was attempting to jump on the freight train when he was hit.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred on the tracks near North 2nd and Buttonwood streets.
