A California airport spokesman says a Dallas-bound American Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Mineta San Jose International Airport after a bird strike.

No injuries were reported.

Airport spokeswoman Rosemary Barnes says the plane returned to the airport Friday about 20 minutes after it took off around 6:20 a.m.

It then taxied to a gate.
