The incident happened on a home in the 500 block of Minor Street.
Authorities believe Julio Ortiz-Lugo broke into the home through a second story window and stabbed a man.
They say he used to live there until he was asked to leave the premises.
An autopsy is schedule Monday on the stabbed victim.
Ortiz-Lugo took off in a car driven by someone else.
He is considered armed and dangerous.
