Investigators say 19-year-old Tyree Lloyd was stabbed in the chest inside of Encore Bar at 40th and Girard just after 2:00 a.m. in West Philadelphia.
He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was later pronounced dead.
Henry Blackson, 28, of the 4200 block of West Viola Street was arrested and charged with the murder.
There was no immediate word on a motive in this killing.
