NORTH PHILADELPHIA - December 3, 2013 --
Police are investigating why a driver fled from police and eventually crashed into a North Philadelphia playground early Tuesday morning. It was around 2:40 a.m. when police say they observed a 2010 Dodge Challenger disregarding a stop sign in the area of 4th and York.
When police went to approach the vehicle, the driver fled and crashed into a playground in the area of 4th and Huntingdon.
The drive then got out of the car and fled the scene.
