Police are trying to determine whether icy conditions played a role in a crash that shut down part of the Roosevelt Boulevard today in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday in the inner northbound lanes between Woodhaven Road and Southampton Road.

The crash caused a box truck to overturn.

Investigators say there was black ice in the area but it's unclear if that's what caused the crash.

Police say other vehicles were involved as well.

There is no word if anyone was hurt in the wreck.

Northbound traffic was down to one lane as police investigated and crews worked to clear the scene.
