High speed police chase ends in arrest in Camden Co.

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - December 29, 2013

It happened after 1:00 a.m. Sunday on I-295 in Burlington Township.

A New Jersey state trooper tried to pull over the driver of a Crown Victoria with Virginia tags for alleged traffic violations.

Police say instead of stopping, the man took off, driving more than 100 miles per hour up and down I-295, getting off and back on at Route 73 in Mt Laurel.

He eventually exited at Creek Road and turned onto Route 130.

Police say he pulled over into the Pennsauken Animal Hospital, jumped out of the car and fled on foot.

Troopers caught up with him and took him into custody.
