Holidays are always tough times for blood banks. But add in the severe winter weather we've had, and the blood supply in the greater Philadelphia area has dropped even lower.
To motivate donors, the hospital is hosting a "Give a Pint, Get a Pound" blood drive next Monday, January 13th.
Anyone who comes to donate will receive a voucher for a free pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee.
The drive runs from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Gouley Auditorium of Einstein's Broad St. and Olney Avenue location.
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are suggested.
