A suspect has been arrested for a gas station robbery on Christmas Day in Middletown, Delaware.

Paul Forbes, 31, of Middletown, is charged with robbing the Valero station at 4434 Boyds Corner Road.

According to police, it was shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Christmas when Forbes allegedly entered the store, walked behind the counter, and confronted the cashier.

Police say he implied he had a handgun, threatened the 20-year-old female employee, and demanded money.

The worker handed over cash and Forbes fled, police say.

He was charged with Robbery First Degree and is being held on $15,000 Secured Bond.
