Baby among 2 hospitalized following Hockessin crash

HOCKESSIN, Del. - January 15, 2014

The accident happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Old Wilmington Road, just north of Yorklyn Road, in Hockessin, Delaware.

A Black Chevy Trailblazer occupied by two adults and an 11 month old baby collided with a Silver Honda Accord.

The baby was checked out at AI DuPont Hospital and released with no injuries.

The driver of the Accord was treated and released at Christiana Hospital, having sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the Trailblazer was cited for no license, no proof of insurance, and unsafe speed.

Police say the road was ice covered.
