The collision took a chunk out of the corner of the home on the 1200 block of Grays Ferry Avenue shortly after midnight.
An elderly woman and her son were inside at the time. No one was hurt.
The driver and another man in the van fled the scene on foot after the crash.
Authorities are trying to determine if the van was stolen. They continue to search for the two men.
City inspectors will inspect the home to see if it is safe to inhabit.
