Man gunned down on Southwest Philadelphia street

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - January 20, 2014

It was 6:10 p.m. when 12th district officers responded to the 6100 block of Buist Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Arriving officers found 29-year-old Benjamin Collier from 2600 block of South 61st Street, on the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Collier was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.

No arrest have been made. Police continue to investigate.

A $20,000 reward is offered for the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in any homicide in the City of Philadelphia.
