It was calm Monday night at Philadelphia International Airport, but behind the scenes airlines were busy preparing for the winter storm.

US Airways told Action News it had already cancelled 66 departing flights scheduled for Tuesday. That's approximately 15% of its daily departures.

Southwest Airlines says it will suspend operations at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, resulting in the cancellation of seven departures and 17 arrivals.

Systemwide, Southwest says, less than 200 departures have been canceled for Tuesday, out of more than 3,200 scheduled. Southwest says customers on those flights have been or will be reached to be accommodated on other flights.
