The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. on the off ramp from Westbound Route 422 to Egypt Road.
The crash involved three vehicles including two box trucks. One of the truck drivers was flown to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he later died.
No other injuries were reported.
Traffic was backed up in the area while crews worked to remove the wreckage.
