Nor'easter is latest winter storm to slam N ew Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. - February 13, 2014

The National Weather Service says some areas of northwest New Jersey could get up to 18 inches of snow by the time it stops falling early Friday morning.

Camden had 11.5 inches of snow by mid-morning.

And in many areas of the state, sustained winds of 15 mph or higher are making it tough to see and blowing back snow as soon as crews clear it.

The snow shut down schools, government offices and businesses and grounded the majority of scheduled flights to and from Newark Liberty Airport.

Heavy, wet snow is causing power outages.
