The incident happened shortly before 6:00 p.m. on the 4900 block of Pulaski Street.
Arriving officers discovered a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck and chest. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
So far, no arrests have been made. Police are investigating.
