Police say 55-year old Thomas Curran was captured in Georgia.
Curran's accused of abusing an 11-year old boy at a home in West Windsor, New Jersey in 2013.
Investigators say he was acting as an after-school caregiver at the time.
Curran is a former dean of students at The American Boychoir School in Princeton. He also previously worked as a middle school director at Swain School in Allentown.
Officials say he has already been extradited back to New Jersey to face charges.
