Fire crews were called to the Bellmawr Manor Apartments in the 1000 block of West Kings Highway around 4:00 p.m.
Officials say heavy fire was showing through the roof and quickly spread to a second alarm leaving 8 units severely damaged.
One woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officials say 11 adults and 8 children were displaced.
The fire was brought under control around 5:00 p.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
